Steven Woodstead

Co-Owner

____________

Hello, I’m Steven Woodstead, principal co-owner of Better Water Well Systems, Inc. In 1986 I decided I wanted to contribute to the community in which I was raised and continued to live in, in a manner of which would be beneficial to the health and safety of my friends, family and neighbors.

As an active member of the Vista Volunteer Fire Department, I have always had a desire to help others in any way I possibly could. When starting my business, I felt it was important to continue supporting the growing needs of my community, with a focus on safety, quality and service for a resource that none of us can live without.

I have been very fortunate to continue to live and work in the same town in which I have established a thriving family and business life. Being able to make sure of the safety of the water and providing services for all aspects that accompany well systems, has allowed me to continue on my path of serving those around me.

In order to provide the best service possible to our customers, it is very important to me to keep up to date on the newest technology, safety regulations and numerous and ever changing environmental elements that effect the water we consume and make use of every day. Aside from the many classes I have taken to expand my knowledge base on all facets of water, I have also been certified with/as:

Profile

I am Bob Woodstead, co-owner of Better Water Well Systems, Inc.  I have been involved with our Company in some fashion since its inception in 1986.

Born and raised in Vista, NY, I am very familiar with the area and surrounding locales.  I lived in Vista until 1997 when my wife Michelle and I moved to Brewster, NY to raise our family of 3 children, 2 sons and 1 daughter.  While not residing in the town, I am still an active part of the Vista Community through the Vista Volunteer Fire Department.

After graduating from John Jay High School in 1989 I joined the Company full-time and have become partners with my brother, Steven.  I love our industry and the challenges constantly presented to us each day.  I love learning new things and find that the technology and mechanics of the "water world" are always developing and changing.  I tend to think "out of the box" and find our field is always testing my capacity to grow and solve the puzzles thrown my way.

As for my qualifications within our field, I am a Certified Water Operator for the County of Westchester, Certified Pump Installer, Licensed Journeyman in the State of Connecticut, Certified Backflow Preventor Testing Technician.  I am registered with the NYS Department of Conservation, a Member of the Empire State Water Well Drilling Association, Member of the National Groundwater Association and the Connecticut Water Well Association.

Michelle Woodstead

Office Manager

Profile

My name is Michelle Woodstead. I am married to Bob, one of the Company's owners.  I have been involved with Better Water Well Systems, Inc. since the birth of our first son, Bobby in 1997.  I handle the day-to-day operations in administrations, accounts receivable and payable as well as schedule coordination and order facilitation for our owners and technicians.

We pride ourselves on being there to help our clients to the best of our abilities.

I, personally, am extremely invested in the satisfaction of our clients and hope to help all who contact us with any and all water related needs.  With the knowledge and experience that water is an often taken-for-granted amenity (until there ISN'T ANY), I aim to make the process of restoring water service as "painless" as possible.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about what we do in our industry or if you think we can help you in any of your water needs.
